I began studying the classical guitar at age 15, and later played in a “New Age” folk-rock band called Anahata. In 1978 I began the serious study of classical music, under the tutelage of Celin Romero, of the world-famous Romero Guitar Quartet. I started my college and university studies in 1979, and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music in 1983 (and was selected as the “Outstanding Graduate of the Year” by the music department faculty). Two years later I received my Master’s Degree, also from SDSU. In 1995 I began composing my own music for the classical guitar, and that is mostly the music I play today. I  have one solo recording available, Songs Without Words, and have played on a number of other recordings with former Anahata band members Timmaris McDowell and Diane Bardwell (www.HeartCenteredMusic.com). I have composed more than 60 pieces for the classical guitar, and will soon be setting up a home recording studio. So, more recordings are in the works...
