I have been in the business of real estate for more than 25 years. Most of that time I worked at Oceana Resales & Rentals, the office started by my father Carl Calcara, in the Oceana senior community in Oceanside. I eventually became broker and owner, and after many I years finally sold the office in 2002 (although I remain the acting broker). Since then, I have concentrated on the Encinitas area, where I have lived since 1975. As an active Encinitas resident for nearly 30 years, I am very familiar with the local real estate market. I am never pushy, am easy to work with, and always place my client’s needs first and foremost. I will list local properties for sale, act as a buyer’s agent, or prepare real estate related documents or contracts; all at a fair and negotiable commission rate. And, when acting as a buyer’s agent, I will return one-third of my commission to the buyer!
